Golden Ticket Holders

A single tournament at the end the season determines the Cornhole Champion of the World. That ACO Tournament is the “King of Cornhole”.

1. One Tournament
2. One Ring
3. One King to be crowned

2011 had the crowning of a new world champion King of Cornhole. The five-time world champion Matt Guy’s reign ended in his second match in the Super Bracket of 64, clearing a path for a new king. It was Kentucky’s own Eric Zocklein who bested Chicago’s Isidro Herrera to be only the second player to wear the crown in the ACO era.

A player normally has three ways that he or she can earn the chance to compete for the world championship “King of Cornhole”.

1. Win a King of Cornhole Qualifier and claim a Golden Ticket / or any other cornhole challenge with a GOLDEN TICKET on the line
2. Finish the season in the CornyForty (top forty in the World Rankings)
3. Buy a ticket.
